Genre in TV programming has greatly changed since the time television was invented. This is an obvious fact. Yet, the concept of bringing televisions shows to reality through the introduction of reality-based programs has broken the traditional notion of predictable television, and the offering of unscripted and real-time television shows brings the level of entertainment into higher toes.

These kinds of shows are watched by thousands of viewers because of the excitement and a plethora of surprises that awaits them since behavior of characters are mostly unexpected and the twist and turns of events are not so predictable unlike in the regular television series that we used to watch. But, since viewers are offered with those kinds of entertainment, their idea of an ending for a show becomes predictable, and eventually they have already thought how a show will end even if those programs are not even finished yet. This remains a challenge to those who conceptualize TV shows on how to strategize and formulate reality-based programs that will offer a new flavor and excitement for their target market. Also, it is important to consider culture-sensitive contents in order not to offend one’s religion and social norms, or even face legal sanctions on the part of the censors.

Whatever the developments may be, reality shows will still exist as viewers like surprises and since most people believe in the cliché that one’s life is unique, so as every show that characters in reality programs portray.

Many of us are becoming bored today. Maybe because of so much work that we have done; or or pressure from things surrounding us, or just simply we are bored. Thus, we look for things and ways where we can counter it and make our lives enjoyable and worth living. There is a vast number of funny materials circulating in the World Wide Web. A search in mighty Google or any search engine will land you to websites designed to provide fun and humor to your surfing experience. The invention of the Web gave us a variety of World Wide Web resources where we can enjoy and relax through just surfing the cyberspace. And the funny stuffs are limitless, they seem to be increasing in numbers, and when you start enjoying them, you’ll also .

First are funny songs. These types of songs are oftentimes melodies that bring laughter through its lyrics or through the way it is sang or interpreted, or the tune is so upbeat that we feel like dancing whenever we heard of it. Even songs written in foreign language seemed to be more understood and supported because of the wide circulation the Web offers to songwriters.

How about TV ads? These ads used to be kept off by TV viewers. But not all commercials are waste of time. There are those commercials, even though we’re not using the product or service being advertised, we still wanted them since they have captured our attention. Many of these funny commercials are very popular in the World Wide Web and they themselves alone are enough to market that particular service or product. Some of them are even banned to be shown in TV, but we’re fortunate we have the World Wide Web, and censors cannot do much to prevent us from seeing them.

This age is also the period where reality shows took place, and reality shows combine wit and humor to bring about real-life shows, not those made by actors and actresses. Funny pranks are famous and almost every one, regardless of who they are, are making their own names when their shows took the Web by storm.

Consider this, there are a vast resource of funny stuff and entertaining media in the Internet. Nothing to spend. A search and click will do, and that’s when entertainment begins.

We treat our pets as a family member. They provide joy and unconditional love that only animals can give. They’re loyal, forgiving, and always there when you need a companion. Ten Article Writing Guide for Newbies

This article on the 10 (no, 11… yes, 11) tips for newbies is not written from the catbird seat point of view of the article host or information manager. Rather it is by and from the perspective of an writer who recalls the early misgivings. It is composed particularly for the starting article author. I have written and presented hundreds of writings for publication to thousands of article directories and database managers and still feels article writing my nemesis.

1. Necessity vs Desire:
Writings and Web blogs are essential in today’s system of search engine indexing. Not what the newbie wants to hear. Just think of what the Holy Book states, “there has nothing over taken you that is not common to man”. That’s right! Many of us detest article and blog writing at times, and some of us dread the journey to pen and paper (or keyboard as the case may be) all the time. Many Internet marketer would call them “a necessary evil” as they are not generally anyone’s best wished house keeping jobs.

2. Just Start, It Gets Better:
First it is often difficult to get a subject or theme and to get the first couple of lines scribbled down. We know writers who literally get sick thinking about the process. Lighten up. There are a lot to write about, name it: alternative medicine, cancer diseases, true religion, life insurance, playing online poker, cheap insurance. Others may think of even more unusual topics such as penis enlargement and cheap viagra. Once an writer has a starting point and gets passed the initial thoughts, blogging and article usually goes fairly smooth.

The key thing is that you begin writing. Choose a topic you know something about and just begin writing. You will be enjoyably surprised at just how easily ideas flow. Don’t take everybody knows what you know. Apparently they do not. Will Rogers once uttered, “all men are ignorant, just on different subjects”. And, so it is!

3. Good vs Perfection:
Your old English composition professor is not looking over your shoulder. This paper does not have to be perfect. However, perfection is not the goal and is, in fact, seldom possible. Too much detail and you run the danger of losing your reader on various levels. Too long and
most readers simply don’t have the time or interest to read the material irrespective of how good it is.

4. Blog Length vs Length of Article:
Most article publishers require a minimum of six hundred (600) words per article - some will let you slide with 400 words. Blogs can be much smaller. Blogs can and maybe should support appropriate images and embedded links.

Don’t over do it though. Too gaudy or too slow to load and you have wasted your time, ticked off a potential reader, and probably upset a host who can ban you from their publications. compositions, on the other hand, typically cannot carry these extra touches concurring to the essentials of most publishers.

5. Format:
Save your article in ASCII format. There are a lot of software from which to choose to get the job done. A search for ‘free ASCII editor’ or for ‘free plain text editors’ will provide one with a multitude of free options. WordPress is a popular choice. If all else fails simply use notepad to turn out your masterpiece.

6. Grammar and Spelling:
Run and good spell checker and grammar checker once you have written your article. Microsoft Word has a built-in tool for this. Just don’t use the MS Word copy for publishing of your article. Rather use its suggestions to make any necessary rectifications to your copy in plain text. The MS Word copy will work for blogs although other editors are favored.

Like the good old days when you were pushed by teachers, you will findarticle writing and blog writing skills become better with time and practice.

7. Publish and Announce:
Once your blog is ready you may want to utilize some automatic tools to publish and announce it. First do a search for Blog servers and select those suited to your needs. Join one or more and publish your blog there. Then search for blog and RSS announcers and utilize them to get your blog known.

Now that you have that out of the way find an article wizard that will post your compositions to free publishers. You can post them one at a time by hand if you are really bored and have absolutely nothing else in life to do. Using an automatic poster you can publish to hundreds of servers in an hour or so. The only way to go.

8. Patience:
Now, have some forbearance. Here is where you lose control. Many of the men and women who host writings are timely and your writings will be reviewed within 1 to 2 days. Others may take days and weeks therefore never date an article - a sure way to get rejected.

9. Rejection - “sorry your article has been declined”:
Be prepared for most servers to reject your compositions. Do not be personal about this. It usually has something to do with your submission and with you as the author.

Some sites instantly reject writings for spelling errors when there are none or where there is more than way to spell a word. And, just as in any other endeavor some hosts are simply too slow-moving and get so far behind, the easiest and quickest thing to do (and perhaps the only alternative) is to reject the whole article. You will know who does this over time.

Then there are those who run your articles through the sausage grinder and if they find certain words, regardless of their usage, your article are instantly junked. These are the people who can’t even publish the Bile because of the words it contains that may offend readers. These are people who are narrow-minded and doesn’t deserve a place in article writing.

Remember, just as in everything else in life, for every rule there is an exception.

10. Keep the faithBelieve, and keep cranking out articles:
Since most writers, especially newcomers, prepare only one copy of an article against the advice of most seasoned authors it is important that the newbie keep his chin up - keep the faith. That will be easier as more and more of your writings are accepted and published getting visitors to your website while creating those all significant links to your sites.

It is not necessary that every host to accept every submission. After one or two hosts publish your article on any given subject, the search engines tend to penalize additional postings of the same article. This is close to spamming and while it could help someone find you, it probably won’t. It is not necessarily, the more the merrier. The additional listings will not step-up your page rankings or links reported by the search engines. It is more essential to get your article published by hosts with the highest Google page rank possible.

Now, one Incentive Hint for you: Along with “the rejection slip” will usually come a suggestion on how to “fix” your article and a invite that you submit it again. Don’t blow your time. While trying comply with one database manager’s request you could have composed a new one from which you get much more punch. Enough web publishers will choose your article up so move on and save yourself some time and heartburn.

Everybody has an idea or thought at least once a day usually at the untimeliest time. How many good ideas have you lost because of waiting? Don’t procrastinate! Go! Capture that thought before it is gone forever.

Most of us would stop working if we could. We always crave for it, but that’s the only thing we can do: dreaming. Working a 9-5 just looks inevitable. I, James Gillard, however am a master at defying the inevitable. I gaze ‘The Inescapable’ straight to the face and and name him dirty ones. I say, if you like to quit your job, STOP WORKING; I’ll even give you 5 reasons why you should.

1. If you stop working you’ll have more time to devote to reading good articles such as this one. That will make me a household name down at the Office of Unemployment and Welfare Services. My fame is a simple price in achieving your dreams. Think about this when you see me on TV.

2. There’s a great feeling in quitting your job. For about 10 minutes you’ll be on cloud nine, you’ll on the top of the world, you’ll be living the good life, you’ll be: -insert your own cliche here-. Then the worries start about the car note, the mortgage, the kid’s school clothes, groceries, and and how you’re going to pay the amount you owe to other companies. All this will bring depression up to the extent of attempting suicide, but at least you had 10 minutes of freedom.

3. TV shows during the day is some of the most breathtaking and fascinating television around. You’ll wonder how you ever survived without all those documentaries, quality soap operas, judge shows, talk shows, and judge shows where you get the sinking suspicion that the judge has been paid off. When you combine this with all the educational advertisements that air during the day that will ”Teach you to drive a tractor trailer in 4 days’, ‘Allow you to get a degree from home’, ‘Show you how to make $1,000 a day stuffing envelopes’, in such exciting fields as GED preparation and septic tank scrubber’ and you’ll not only wonder why you didn’t quit your job sooner, you’ll also vow to never work again.

4. In your formerly employed state you missed all those calls from colletors and billing agents. Now that you have resigned you’ll be able to sit at home in eager anticipation of these oh-so-important calls. Toss in a few telemarketers, calls from various associations begging for donations, and a few of those computers that call you and ask you to ‘Hold for an important message’ and you’ll have to sit back and relax answering these calls. It will be like having a full-time job all over again, without getting a salary.

5. Forcing yourself out of bed daily at 5:45 in the morning doesn’t help your body. Your doctor will be happy to know for caring enough about your body’s well-being to go as far as leaving your job. He won’t see you anymore, however, because you no longer have health insurance. You don’t have . Sitting all day in a damp clinic waiting room next to young teenagers diagnosed with Gonorrhea is yet another experience you would have missed out on if you keep working on your present job.

There you have it folks. Five raesons why you should go out and quit your job. Have a free feeling to say these to your employer when you handle your resignation. If she wants to know where you came across such valuable information say to her that friend with unselfish motives provided them to you, and all I asked in return was that you remember me next time you need your septic tank scrubbed…

Why Birthdays are Celebrated

Why do we observe celebrating our birthdays? What is it that we are toasting? Is it for we survive another year of hardships and odds? Are we taking notes of our progress, our victories and triumphs? Is it a sign of new hope for us to live our life for the year to come?

None would matter maybe..

If we are remembering the past year, would we still drink to it if we were to receive some bad news about our health and imminent demise? Not likely, but why? How is the future relevant (our own looming death) when one is celebrating the past? We cannot change the past. Never a future event can vitiate the fact that we got it through another 12 months of struggle. Then why not celebrate this fact?

Because what we focus on is not the past. Our birthdays are about the future, not of the past. We are celebrating having arrived so far because such successful resilience allows us to continue forward. We’re proud of our potentials to further enjoy the gifts of life. Birthdays are constructions of unrestrained, blind faith in our own suspended mortality.

But if this holds true, surely as we grow older we have less and less cause to celebrate. What reason do octogenarians have to drink to another year if that gift is far from guaranteed? Life provides diminishing returns: the longer you are invested, the less likely you are to reap the dividenda of survival, life insurance for example. So, based on actuarial science, it becomes increasingly less rational to celeberate as we grow older.

Thus, we are driven into the conclusion that birthdays are about self-delusionally defying death. Preserving the illusion of immortality are what birthdays mean. Birthdays are forms of acting out our magical thinking. By celebrating our existence, we bestow on ourselves protective charms against the nonsense and whimsical nature of a impersonal, cruel, cold, and and most often a world full of hostility.

And it works more often than not. Have a no prescription - Happy birthday!
